Dr. Kalava is an Australian-trained psychiatrist specializing in Addiction Psychiatry. She focuses on the role of diet, exercise, and lifestyle in mental wellbeing. Understanding how trauma can lead to mental illness and social isolation, she uses psychotherapeutic approaches to help individuals heal and improve their quality of life.
She also provides comprehensive ADHD assessment and management as part of her outpatient psychiatric services. Dr. Kalava is aware of the stigma surrounding psychiatric treatment and is passionate about addressing social issues like domestic violence and advocating for marginalized communities.
Dr. Kalava offers outpatient treatment through Serene Minds Clinic, available both face-to-face and remotely.

Dr Mehdi is a specialist GP with a strong focus on the holistic assessment and long-term management of chronic disease. His approach looks beyond isolated symptoms, integrating medical, psychological, and lifestyle factors to deliver personalised, evidence-based care.
A core area of Dr Mehdi’s practice is the comprehensive assessment and management of adult ADHD. He places strong emphasis on detailed diagnostic evaluation, including developmental history, functional impairment, and co-existing conditions such as anxiety, sleep disorders, and mood dysregulation. Care is tailored to the individual and reviewed as health priorities and life demands evolve.
Dr Mehdi also has a dedicated interest in male hormonal health and male longevity. He works closely with men experiencing fatigue, cognitive changes, low mood, reduced libido, erectile dysfunction, and age-related or metabolic health concerns. Through thorough hormonal and metabolic assessment, his goal is to optimise vitality, sexual function, performance, and long-term healthspan.

Dr Jim Abrahams
Dr Jim Abrahams is an experienced general practitioner with special interests in healthy ageing, longevity, cognitive health and cardiovascular medicine. He takes a proactive approach to helping patients understand their health risks, investigate emerging concerns and maintain their wellbeing and independence as they age.
Dr Jim has a particular interest in memory and cognitive changes, dementia assessment and healthy ageing, providing thorough clinical assessment and ongoing care tailored to each patient. He also provides cardiovascular assessment and cardiac stress testing for appropriate patients, helping investigate symptoms and identify cardiovascular risk factors.
Dr Jim is passionate about patient education and has developed a range of in-house health videos covering areas of particular interest to help patients better understand their health and treatment options.

Dr Kieran Le Plastrier - General Practitioner
Dr Kieran Le Plastrier is an experienced general practitioner with over 25 years of experience across general practice, psychiatry, and surgery. He provides holistic, patient-centred care with a focus on understanding each patient’s overall health, lifestyle, and long-term wellbeing.
Dr Le Plastrier has a strong interest in metabolic and functional health, psychological wellbeing, chronic disease management, sports medicine, LGBTQ+ health, men’s health, paediatric neurodivergence, fertility and family planning, and skin cancer management.
He is committed to providing practical, compassionate care tailored to each patient’s needs, with a strong focus on prevention, ongoing support, and improving quality of life.

Dr Sid Wahi
Dr Sid graduated from Bond University in 2021 with a Bachelor of Medical Studies (BMedSt) and Doctor of Medicine (MD). A Gold Coast local, he completed his early postgraduate training at Gold Coast University Hospital before commencing his General Practice training.
He is passionate about providing compassionate, patient-centred care and enjoys caring for patients of all ages. He values building long-term relationships with his patients and working together to achieve the best possible health outcomes. His clinical interests include preventative health, musculoskeletal injuries, men’s health, paediatrics and emergency medicine.
Outside of work, Sid enjoys playing golf, spending time with his wife, and taking their Golden Retriever, Nala, on adventures around the Gold Coast.
